Integrating PCRaster in ArcView 3

This extension enables the use of PCRaster for dynamic modelling in the ArcView Spatial Analyst environment. Input files for the models can be in either ArcView or PCRaster format. Output files are written in ArcView format.

PCRaster models that read and write ArcView datasets can run inside ArcView through the PCRaster dynamic modelling extension and in this case the full display and analytical power of ArcView is available for further processing of PCRaster results.

PCRaster models that read and write ArcView datasets can run outside the ArcView environment. The PCRaster-ArcView link allows for defining the output format, and any model in PCRaster can be used to create ArcView datalayers. In this case, PCRaster is used as a stand-alone modelling engine and further processing of the produced datasets can be done with any software that reads ArcView data.
